Our Approach:
The 5 E’s of Financial Planning
Education: I come from a family of educators. My wife is a 4th grade teacher and my mom taught special education for over 40 years. I firmly believe that one of the greatest assets a financial planner can offer is education.
Emotion: If we are being honest, money and investing can be very emotional. These emotions can create stress in our lives, both positive and negative. Financial decisions based on emotion can lead to poor outcomes and so it is our goal to remove as much emotion out of those decisions as possible. Let’s save that energy for our families, friends and passions.
Empathy: Life is a journey, and we understand there will be ups and downs. We have been through it too and are here to help you navigate the turbulent times.
Efficiency: When it comes to investing, we believe the markets are highly efficient. We are going to focus on creating a low cost and balanced approach to investing. We do not try to time the markets or pick the next hot stock. If you do not understand an investment or feel comfortable with the risk associated, please do not invest in it.
Empower: Through our process we hope to empower you to make better financial decisions. The goal is to create a straightforward and stress-free plan that you feel comfortable with, and empowered to follow.
